Banque PSA Finance is the principal bank for PSA Peugeot Citroën and commercializes financial services (leasing, renting) for its subsidiaries.

Banque PSA Finance Belux contacted Effect in the context of a communication issue in the commercial department:

This department received hundreds of faxes per day, containing up to 3000 pages per day, over several analog lines towards several fax machines. This created a heavy workload for the PSA Peugeot Citroën concessionaires as well as for the Banque PSA Finance sales people in the fax room, who had to treat these commercial files, this because these files could be incomplete due to technical issues. The Banque PSA Finance sales people also had to retrieve the right faxes physically for the customers appointed to them.

Effect analyzed this situation, came up with a solution and implemented it within weeks.

An XPhone fax server was installed that digitally receives all faxes without possibility of losing or misplacing any information.

This server is natively connected to an Autostore document server which recognizes the sender from meta-data contained in each fax. Each fax is renamed according to the Banque PSA Finance standards and is transformed to a searchable/treatable document and sent to a sales file server.

On this server every sales person can now retrieve each file attended for him and treat it instantly.

Not only did Effect solve the issue for the commercial workflow of the Banque PSA Finance sales people and the elimination of misplaced files, but the solution also resulted in a saving of thousands pages per day.
